The Galveston Arts Center tonight presents another Galveston ArtWalk tonight.  One of Galveston’s favorite events (and the Houstonians seem to love it as well), ArtWalk occurs roughly every six weeks, and most of the activity centers around historic downtown Galveston.

Galleries having opening receptions tonight are:

Buchanan Gallery at 220 25th Street (we are thrilled that Kathy Buchanan has re-opened her gallery)

Designworks Gallery at 2119A Postoffice

Galveston Art League Gallery at 2117A Postoffice

Galveston Arts Center in Exile (their building is now going through restoration) at 202 25th Street, Suite 101

J. Bangle Silk Stocking Gallery at 2411 25th Street

Local Color at 120 20th Street

Wagner Sousa Modern Art at 404 25th Street

The Water’s Edge Studio and Gallery at 1302 21st Street

Rene Wiley Studio and Gallery at 2128 Postoffice

There are also several other locations that will feature art installations tonight, and you can find them listed in the Galveston ArtWalk brochure located in the above galleries.
