Galveston real estate after Hurricane Ike – Jamaica Beach is an incorporated  village on Galveston Island’s west end.  Covering a large area, Jamaica Beach has homes by the beach, homes on West Bay, homes on canals, and homes on dry lots.  The oldest homes date from the early 60’s, but construction of new homes continues.
