A Galveston Artwalk is scheduled for this coming Saturday, January 19 from 6 pm until 9 pm.
Happening about every six weeks in historic downtown Galveston, several Galveston galleries coordinate the opening of their new exhibitions. Join the crowd mingling in the galleries and outside on the sidewalks and enjoy the wine and snacks offered by the galleries.
This free event always brings out the locals as well as folks from Houston and the rest of southeast Texas.
I always start at the Galveston Arts Center, a non-profit art gallery on The Strand and then work out from there.
