One of the first designations I received was the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR).
When I first started in real estate here in the Galveston area, I mostly worked with buyers, so it was a natural for me to want to learn more about how to better represent buyers.
Offered by the Real Estate Buyers Agent Council (REBAC), which is affiliated with the National Association of Realtors, these courses gave me a wealth of knowledge that I like to pass on to those who work with me so that they too can better represent their buyers.
Of all of the licensed agents in the United States, only 30,000 have earned this designation by passing the courses and providing evidence of buyer agency experience.
