About every six weeks, local art galleries, mostly downtown, open new exhibits and feature them on the Galveston Artwalk.
Artwalk is a free evening of viewing art, viewing people (locals and visitors), drinking some wine, and general mingling.
Galleries featuring new exhibits today are the Galveston Arts Center, Buchanan Gallery, Simply Art, DesignWorks, Leslie Gallery, The Water’s Edge, the Galveston Art League Gallery and Wagner Sousa Modern Art. Also on Artwalk are several other venues featuring artist’s works and you’ll find those listed in the Artwalk brochure.
